Magna IP-based audio/video distribution solution uses existing standard: it’s based on HDMI over the Ethernet technology and TCP/IP protocols to multicast HDMI HD / 4K UHD video signals on the Gigabit Ethernet network. In a multicast configuration, one or more transmitters can drive multiple receivers with no extra network load. The DSP units support IGMP and all HD/UHD source content can be delivered anywhere the Ethernet wiring is present.
Simplicity is key when installing the Magna system. It is PoE powered, so there is no additional cabling required, just ethernet cable between the switch and the DSP units. Single DSP unit can be both input and output which means that by getting 4 units you will be able to make 4×4 Videowall (4 inputs and 4 outputs)
